Who We Are

About the Forest Products Industry National Labor Management Committee (LMC)

We are a coalition of labor unions and management dedicated to finding solutions to the long-term challenges facing our industry.

We represent hundreds of thousands of workers in the forest products industry, including lumber and sawmill workers, woodworkers, machinists, carpenters and pulp and paper workers. Manufacturers and consumers around the globe depend on the raw materials produced by our industry. We provide the products to build homes, businesses, schools, roads and transportation systems, as well as manufacturing the wood and paper products consumers use every day.

LMC affiliate organizations include:

International Labor Unions

Regional Labor Affiliates

Management Affiliates

The LMC's structure and goals operate within the confines of the Taft-Hartley Act, and its activities do not affect individual collective bargaining agreements.
